Pysanky Workshop
with Ann Anzini

A pysanka (plural: pysanky) is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, "to write", as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax.

Instructor Ann Anzini will lead this workshop and teach the fundamentals of creating these beautiful objects.

All supplies are included with your class fee (Including two empty eggs)
Everyone gets to make two eggs during the four hour session. Students can work from set designs or from photos and books which the instructor will provide.

Note - Completed eggs will be taken by the instructor for final finishing in her studio (removing beeswax and applying varnish). Arrangements will be made for students to pick up the completed pieces.
