Portrait Drawing Simplified!
with Jack Ricketson

The human face is one of the most challenging subjects to draw - and one of the most rewarding to achieve successfully. This three-hour workshop covers basic anatomy of hands and faces with special attention to each feature - eyes, ears, nose and mouth, plus techniques for shading, adding highlights and classic lighting for portraits.

Learn the old masters' tricks for proportion and composition as well as tips for creating realistic hair and skin tones. Knowing how to capture a human likeness not only stimulates and entertains, but also gives a foundation from which to explore a wider variety of subjects, compositions, and mediums.
